Inspired by the natural beauty of the Sonoran Desert, Mesa Arts Center is a unique and attractive facility that features a Theaters Complex with four theaters, Mesa Contemporary Arts with five art galleries, fourteen visual and performing arts studios, intimate landscaped gardens, expansive courtyards, and inviting patios. Mesa Arts Center offers a wealth of rental opportunities that can be customized to meet your particular needs.
Tom and Janet Ikeda Theater
This theater features a beautiful, canyon inspired interior and houses 1,588 seats on three levels. The house also has been designed with adjustable acoustics to accommodate a variety of musical presentations from symphonies to jazz quartets to soloists.
Virginia G. Piper Repertory Theater
This theater features 550 seats on two levels, and is known as "The Garden Theater" because of its layering of subtle tones of green color. The space has been designed to bring audiences as close as possible to the stage, creating an inviting, intimate experience.
Nesbitt/Elliott Playhouse
This theater has been specifically designed to accommodate young audiences, with steeply raked seating, clear sightlines, and a specially-designed stage that is oriented lower to the ground. The whimsical space provides a playful atmosphere for 200 patrons.
Anita Cox Farnsworth Studio Theater
This theater is the most versatile of all, with the capability of being configured for theater, cabaret, receptions, meetings, exhibitions, or we can work with you to accommodate your particular needs. This "black box" space measures 1,600 square feet, with a capacity of 98 people.
