In the Performing Arts education program, arts and education professionals teach standard-based, process-oriented classes, camps and workshops. Classes challenge the imagination, develop creativity, sharpen critical thinking and develop performing arts skills.

Acting Studio

Acting classes are held in this studio at Mesa Arts Center as well as Off the Cuff, and Ballet Folklórico. Classes consist of acting, drama, improvisation, camera work, directing, movement, stage combat and playwriting.

Drama Studio

In addition to drama classes, this studio hosts portions of the Creative Tots program. It also serves as the main studio for the annual Creative Zone Actor’s workshop. Classes consist of acting, drama, improvisation, camera work, directing, movement, stage combat and playwriting. Learn More |

Music Studio

Various music classes and portions of the Creative Tots program are held in this studio. Classes consist of guitar, general music, preschool music, private voice, group vocal classes and more. Learn More |

Creative Tots

This is an arts program for children ages 3-5. Classes consist of four 45-minute sections of drama, dance, structured play, music and/or visual arts. Snacks will be provided.
